JIRO’s Return Announcement

August 14, 2026 (Friday)
Hello, this is JIRO.
After a month of taking time to reorganize and reflect, JIRO is finally making its return!!
Thank you so much for waiting for us all this time.
We started JIRO together and have been running it as a fourth-year English major and a fourth-year sociology major.
During this period of reflection, we thought carefully about what kind of activities would suit JIRO, what our strengths are, and how we could make the most of them.
As a result, we decided to build the foundation for regional revitalization through “data-driven, multilingual regional humanities content,” making the most of JIRO’s strengths: our strong interest in data, our passion for the humanities, and our experience of consistently producing content in both English and Japanese.
We will continue to do our best to grow and create meaningful content.
Once again, thank you sincerely for waiting for JIRO.

After more than a year of JIRO’s activities
We took some time to think about what direction would be right for JIRO,
what our strengths are,
and how we could make the most of those strengths in our activities.
JIRO’s strengths are:
We’re highly interested in data!!
We love the humanities!!
We’ve been translating our content into English and Japanese!!
Making the most of these strengths,
we’ll be back with
“data-driven, multilingual regional humanities content”
See you soon~~!
